RCS initiated the House System of student government and leadership development in 2011.
Redeemer Christian School utilizes the House System as a tool to prepare students for a lifetime of leadership roles in family, church, school, business, and government while promoting a sense of community, team spirit, and school pride for all students in the school.
The House System provides familial camaraderie as students, families, and faculty come together for various culture- and traditional-building activities that cross age and grade boundaries. In hosting the House System, RCS underscores the aspect of the school’s mission in equipping students for a life of service to the glory of God. Throughout the school year, the Houses take part in:
- Academic and Athletic Challenges
- Spirit Days
- Plan and Host School and House-Wide Social Activities
- Engage in Community Service
All House members are encouraged to model good sportsmanship, humble service, unity, and encouragement.
