Redeemer Christian School holds to traditional, conservative Christian orthodoxy as expressed in our Statement of Faith.

2 Timothy 2:15

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, inerrant and infallible Word of God, and the only rule of faith and practice (2 Tim 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21).

We believe that God is a Spirit, and that there are three persons in the Godhead:  the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  These three are one God, the same in substance, equal in power and glory (Isa 45:18; Isa 48:16).

We believe that God the Father chose a people in Christ before the creation of the world and that, in love, He predestined them to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will (1 Peter 2:9, Rom 8:28-30).

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who became man.  He took to Himself a true body, yet without sin, being conceived in the Virgin Mary, by the power of the Holy Spirit.  He offered Himself a sacrifice for the sins of His people, to satisfy divine justice on their behalf, and to reconcile them to God through faith in Him (Matt 28:18; John 1:1; Col 1:16; 1 John 2:2; Rom 3:25-26).  We believe in the bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Cor 15).

We believe that man is saved from sin by grace, through faith in Christ, apart from works of the law. This spiritual birth from above results in a new life of obedience to Christ and in a growing likeness to Him. This takes place by the power of the Holy Spirit, Who indwells every believer (Eph 2:8-9; 2 Tim 1:14).

We believe that those whom God has predestined unto life, He is pleased in His appointed and accepted time effectually to call by His Word and Spirit (Eph 2:8-9; 2 Tim 1:14).  We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ (Acts 3:19-21; Rom 10:9-10: 1 Cor 6:9-11).

We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female.  These two distinct, complementary sexes together reflect the image and nature of God.  Rejection of one’s biological sex or gender is a rejection of the image of God within that person (Gen 1:26-28).

We believe that God created and sanctioned marriage to bring together men and women, the complementary halves of humanity, by joining them in “one-flesh” unions (Gen 2:18-25).   We believe that marriage between one man and one woman for life uniquely reflects Christ’s relationship with His Church (Eph 5:21-33).   We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity (Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31).

We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image.  Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death.  We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life (Psalm 139).

We believe that at death, the souls of believers pass immediately into glory. Their bodies rest in the grave until the resurrection, when their bodies will be glorified and reunited with their souls, to live in the presence of the Lord forever.  Unbelievers will be eternally separated from God in judgment (Rom 8:11; Eph 2:1-3).  We also believe in the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ, in power and glory, according to His promise (1 John 14:1-3, Matt 16:37).
