Redeemer Christian School holds to traditional, conservative Christian orthodoxy as expressed in our Statement of Faith.

What do we believe about?…

God is the Creator, Sustainer, and Sovereign over all things and reveals Himself through His creation, His Word, providence, and His Son. (Genesis 1:1; John 1:1-2)

Who Christ is

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God Who became man. He took to Himself a true body, yet without sin, being conceived in the Virgin Mary, by the power of the Holy Spirit. He offered Himself a sacrifice for the sins of His people, to satisfy divine justice on their behalf, and to reconcile them to God, through faith in Him.  (Matt 28:18; John 1:1; Col 1:16; 1 John 2:2; Rom 3:25-26)

The Trinity

We believe there are Three Persons in the Godhead: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These Three are one God, the same in substance, equal in power and glory. (Isa 45:18; Isa 48:16)

We believe that man is created in the image of God. God the Father chose a people in Christ before the creation of the world and that, in love, He predestined them to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will. (1 Pet 2:9, Rom 8:28-30)

We believe that man is saved from sin by grace, through faith in Christ, apart from works of the law. This spiritual birth from above results in a new life of obedience to Christ and in a growing likeness to Him. This takes place by the power of the Holy Spirit, Who indwells every believer. (Eph 2:8-9; 2 Tim 1:14)

The Bible2 Timothy 2:15

The Bible is the inspired, inerrant and infallible Word of God, and the only rule of faith and practice. (2 Tim 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

The Resurrection

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.  (1 Cor 15)

The Security of the Saints

We believe that those whom God has predestined unto life, He is pleased in His appointed and accepted time effectually to call by His Word and Spirit. (Eph 2:8-9; 2 Tim 1:14)

Biblical Marriage

We believe that God created and sanctioned marriage to bring together men and women, the complementary halves of humanity, by joining them in “one-flesh” unions. (Gen 2:18-25)   We believe that marriage between one man and one woman for life uniquely reflects Christ’s relationship with His Church. (Eph 5:21-33)   We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. (Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31)

We believe that at death, the souls of believers pass immediately into glory. Their bodies rest in the grave until the resurrection, when their bodies will be glorified and reunited with their souls, to live in the presence of the Lord forever. Unbelievers will be eternally separated from God in judgment. (Rom 8:11; Eph 2:1-3)

The Second Coming

We believe in the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ, in power and glory, according to His promise. (John 14:1-3; Matt. 16:37)
